How it all began...
It all started in grade school. I was that awkward kid/teen with low self-esteem. Upon graduating from high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I daydreamed about travelling the world. It was my belief that you needed to be incredibly wealthy in order to travel the world back then. Although my parents insisted that I attend college, I dropped out after only two years. As a result, I wasted my twenties partying my life away, I was perpetually unemployed, I attracted toxic relationships, and my relationship with money was strained.
Over time I discovered journaling and the law of attraction. My vision eventually grew into a plan to travel the world, and at the time, that was the only thing I wanted to do. I started visualizing myself visiting all of these exotic places and meeting cool people along the way. Finally, my debts were paid off and I managed to save a small amount so I could travel. As a result, I backpacked throughout Southeast Asia for a year, I got a working holiday visa in Australia and lived there for two years, and I spent three years in Hawaii.
Despite all the amazing experiences, there was still something missing. My family and home became increasingly important to me after spending so much time away. Externally, everyone thought it was amazing that I was able to travel the world, but internally I was still broken inside. I decided to pick up another journal and began to write again...
Inner Work
Upon reflecting and journaling, my travels were a means of escaping something and not wanting to deal with my inner emotions. During the time, I did not want to deal with my unresolved issues with my parents. It was a chaotic household. I travelled because I valued my freedom.... or so I thought. The real truth? I was feeling empty and STUCK inside and used traveling as a means to escape. I was lying to myself about my life. I struggled. I struggled hard. I was irresponsible and chose to travel to avoid any sort of responsibility. I didn't want to ADULT. Not only that, my parents were getting older. I wanted to be there for them and it made me realize how much I actually value family.
After reviewing my beliefs about myself, I knew something needed to change. I decided to make that identiy switch. I began journaling my vision. During my vision quest, I also met someone special. I was going through another crappy relationship which prompted me to start putting together a list of what I wanted in a partner. The very next day an incredible person showed up in my life and he had all the qualities I was looking for in a partner. I won't go into too much detail, but he led me in the right direction and showed me what was possible. I am forever grateful he exists and I hope he reads this one day ❤️
All that being said, I was still not ready to be in a relationship. In the process, I had to do a lot of inner work and healing that was much needed. As I continued to journal, I realized that I was craving stability in all areas of my life. In order for me to create this environment, I chose to move back home and heal my relationships with my family. I ended up getting an awesome job for a tech company where I was able to work from home. At the same time, I was craving something more, something that had to do with my life's purpose. Having worked for this tech company, I was in a unique position to start my own company online.
Then came the creation of Manifest Workshop :)
My Journey Continues...
One of the greatest things I discovered about journaling is that there is no right or wrong way to do it. In light of this, I came across Nikola Tesla's 369-method. My experience with this technique I used for manifesting was powerful, simple, and extremely effective. Additionally, I made a few tweaks to it. What makes this journal special is that it's not only a journal for manifesting... it's also a guide to expressing your intentions through gratitude and as though they had already materialized! Or you can simply just use it as a gratitude journal for what you are grateful now :) That being said, the simple act of writing something down won't result in your wish becoming a reality. The key is to write it down with genuine intention, to tap into that feeling of gratitude, to hold that intention, and then to let it go.... and then letting the Universe do its thaaaang!
Once I started implementing the 369 method, I subconciously created a dedicated space and time for journaling. This was an excellent way to establish a routine for myself. Because of this practice and its simplicity, I was able to implement good habits. Now I am able to manifest instantly and consistently! This journal is especially great for those who are just getting started with journaling. There is truly something magical about writing your thoughts down on paper. A four-month study found notable health benefits among those who wrote expressively for 15 to 20 minutes a day, three to five times a week. One of the most notable outcomes was the reduction of blood pressure among participants.
The goal of my journey into manifesting is to help as many people as possible to become the best version of themselves through journaling. As part of my initiative, I intend to create a community of like-minded people who are passionate about identifying their limiting beliefs and making changes to achieve their truest desires. We are all so deserving and capable! My journey has taken me this far, so if I can do this, I know you can too ❤️
Happy Manifesting!
